- Restaurant details you provide (name, address, cuisine type)
- Menu content including item names, descriptions, prices, and images
Automatically Collected Information
- Device information (browser type, operating system) - collected via User-Agent header
- IP address and approximate location - used for security and rate limiting
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
- Menu view analytics - we collect anonymous menu view events (menu ID, language preference, hashed User-Agent) to provide analytics in your dashboard. User-Agent strings are hashed before storage to protect privacy.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our services
- To process your subscription payments
- To send you important updates about your account
- To provide customer support
- To improve our platform and develop new features
- To generate anonymous analytics for your dashboard
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. AI Translation Services
When you use our AI translation feature, your menu content is sent to our third-party AI provider (OpenRouter) for processing. OpenRouter may:
- Process your menu content to generate translations
- Collect metadata about API usage (token counts, latency, timestamps) for billing and service optimization
- By default, not store your prompts or responses unless you opt into prompt logging in your OpenRouter account
- Route requests to AI model providers whose privacy policies may vary

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting), OpenRouter (AI translation services), SMTP email service (for contact form emails)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale
